RISK CONSULTING DIRECTOR – BANKING CREDIT/MARKET RISK & REG REPORTING KNOWLEDGE WITH EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING & SELLING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS REQUIRED

 

£170K - £180K + Bens & Bonus    Hybrid (London)

Our client, a global consultancy, seeks to hire a Risk & Compliance Director to drive forward growth for its expanding Financial Services Division. Duties will include;

  • Work with the leadership team to help define a sound business growth strategy for Risk & Compliance.
  • Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands group's client positioning
  • Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within Risk & Compliance space
  • Manage the team of consulting professionals including their goals & objectives, mentoring, career planning etc.
  • Define and establish products & fintechs partnerships closely working with alliance team to nurture the partnership
  • Leverage the above to help create a strong market positioning and increasing mindshare in the Risk & Compliance ecosystem

You should have previous consulting experience working in the Financial Risk and Compliance domain having managed multiple consulting & transformation programs. In particular you should have a working knowledge of key Risk & Compliance functions for Commercial & Retail Banks (especially Credit Risk, Market Risk and Regulatory Reporting) with a good understanding of IT delivery methodology (ideally including Agile, Scrum, Iterative etc) although after advising at the initial tender stage, your team will take over the delivery.

Additionally you have experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value-based pitches with a proven track record of generating consulting business from new & existing accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into multimillion-dollar engagements.
