Our client is a leading timber firm in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area now seeking a Compliance Manager to be responsible for the company's compliance responsibilities in regard to the Illegal Logging Prohibition Act. Reporting to the General Manager duties include;
- All procedures & systems relating to the Illegal Logging Prohibition Act.
- Ensure any regulatory changes acted upon
- Perform all DD requirements, gathering information from suppliers, assessing risk and completing risk mitigation.
- Perform annual certification audits
- Maintaining all required documentation on an accurate & timely basis
You should have several years working in Compliance and either have previous experience of the Illegal Logging Prohibition Act or be willing to pick up the requirements quickly.
Please note this is 5 days pw on site so will need own car.
